Purposes
We believe that Jesus addressed the five purposes of the church in Matthew 22:37-40 and Matthew 28:19,20.

Worship (Love the Lord you God)
We gather in God’s presence to celebrate Christ and, through His Holy Spirit, seek to comfort those who are hurting, encourage those who are searching, and offer encouragement to the believer.

Ministry (Love your neighbor as yourself)
This is the area church leaders are to "prepare God’s people for works of service" (Eph 4:12) by demonstrating God’s love, ministering to the needs of the community, and by being caregivers to the family of God. We believe that every believer at Jordan Creek has a ministry service to perform, is a"10" in God’s eyes, and has been created on purpose for a purpose.

Evangelism (Go and make disciples)
We exist to communicate God’s word to everyone. Evangelism is done in many ways at Jordan Creek: Alpha, Life groups, Block Parties, Sunday morning service, missions, The Buzz, and Kidzone, but most of all it is done through relationships we have with friends, co-workers, and family.

Community (Baptism/Belonging)
The ministry of incorporating God’s family into our fellowship. A commitment to the biblical truth that following Christ is not just a matter of believing, it also includes belonging.

Discipleship (Teaching them)
Discipleship at Jordan Creek will promote believers understanding of God’s Word and biblical principles through a lifelong course of study to produce growth toward Christian maturity and preparation for ministry. We will accomplish this though structured classes following the 101, 201, 301, 401 examples.
